A day before the big night, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization released the swimsuit portraits shot at the poolside of Hennan Resort, Bohol.
The 28 candidates showed off their physiques in swimsuits from the Paulina line by Mikee Andrei who also provided the swimsuits in the preliminary competition.
The organization also announced two new titles in this year’s edition – Miss Universe Philippines Tourism and Miss Universe Charity.
“These two queens will not be competing in any international pageant, but should the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 be unable to fulfill her obligations the MUPH Tourism will takeover,” the organization announced.
Instead of a 4th and 3rd runner-up, this will be changed to 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up.
The show, which will be streamed on KTX will be hosted by KC Montero with performances by Michael Pangilinan and Sam Concepcion.
