After finishing her quarantine in Manila, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez immediately flew to Cebu to help in the relief operations for those affected by typhoon Odette.
The Simply Share Foundation, a charity oganization based in Cebu, posted photos of the beauty queen distributing hot meals to passengers and people working in the Cebu City Port.
Bea was also joined by the Philippine Navy, where she is part of as a marine reservist.
Bea, who finished in the Top 5 of the pageant held in Israel last December 13 has been using her platform to call for donations and help to those affected by the typhoon. Aside from Cebu, the provinces of Bohol, Palawan, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte were among those badly affected by the typhoon.
Other beauty queens such as Bea’s fellow Miss Universe Philippines mates like Victoria Velasquez Vincent and Steffi Aberasturri have also been active in seeking donations and helping in the distribution of relief goods.
