A day after she was crowned as Miss Intercontinental 2021 held in Egypt, Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Obeñita posted her message for the Philippines.
” Mabuhay, Pilipinas! We made it here, where it all began,” Cindy wrote. ” Now begins a new journey to circle the continents and bring our Filipino brand of beauty, power of beauty that is felt in the kindness of our hearts and the sincerity of our loving actions!”

Several beauty queens including her predecessors Kris Tiffany Janson, Emma Tiglao, and Katarina Rodriguez posted their congratulatory messages. Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold and Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Aya Abesamis also wrote their special messages.
Cindy became the second Filipina to win the title in four years. Karen Gallman first won the title in 2018.
No details have been announced when Cindy will return to the Philippines.
