Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez is set to return to Puerto Rico to vie for the country’s second blue crown this March. But before leaving, she had a catch up with some of the press and pageant bloggers and confirmed that her Beauty with a Purpose Project will get funding from Miss World.
“Yes, they [Miss World Organization] will be funding my project,” Tracy said last February 2 during the press conference. “They will be personally coming here to the Philippines to oversee the project. Of course, I am happy. This is not just my win, it’s their win and I was glad to be able to bring them to the Miss World stage because they need help.”
Tracy’s project Para Kay Nanay: A Single Mother’s Journey to Love is among the six projects that the Miss World Organization will fund. They are scheduled to pay a visit after the finals night in Puerto Rico.
The Cebuana beauty said she hopes to pay a visit to Cebu before she leaves and check up on the single moms affected by typhoon Odette. Cebu was one of the provinces badly hit by Odette in Visayas.

Bringing Back the Faith of the Filipinos to Miss World

Aside from reuniting with her sisters in Puerto Rico, Tracy said she is looking forward to fulfill her mission not just to win the second crown for the country but also bring back the faith of the Filipinos to the organization.
“I promised that i would bring back the faith and the hope of the Filipinos to the Miss World Organization and the cause Miss World fights for,” she said.
“Going back to Puerto Rico, that’s what I am excited to do. I want to do that not only pushing for the causes i fight for but at the same time make my country proud, make our country proud and all the Filipinos. This time, this year is our time.”
The Miss World pageant is scheduled for March 16.
