Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 Dindi Pajares left Wednesday, August 4, and is now on her way to Poland to compete in the pageant to be held in Nowy Sącz.
Dindi boarded a Philippine Airlines flight to New York where she had a stopover. Miss World Philippines general manager Arnold Mercado and some of her supporters were at the airport to send her off.
Dindi, who previously competed in Binibining Pilipinas in 2016 and 2017, hopes to bring the second Miss Supranational crown for the country. Mutya Datul first won the title in 2013.
Dindi was crowned last July 24 in a small program at the Red Hotel. She beat 3 other candidates which were chosen by the other Miss World Philippines candidates.
The pageant night was originally scheduled for July 25 but was postponed after Metro Manila was placed under General Community Quarantine with heightened restrictions.
A new pageant date has yet to be announced after the government placed Metro Manila once again under Enhanced Community Quarantine from August 6 to August 20.
