Back in 2019, Emmanuelle Vera’s name has been floated as a possible candidate in a beauty pageant. But it was only this year that she finally decided to plunge into the pageant scene. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter and actress is now the country’s representative to Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 and will fly to Bolivia on October 18.
Let’s take a quick look at Emmanuelle’s journey in Miss World Philippines

Taking the plunge

Emmanuelle screened for Miss World Philippines back in May. In an Instagram post, she wrote: “As I embark on this journey, I ask for your patience, as I’m a newcomer. I ask for your grace, as I am imperfect, and will make mistakes. I ask for your honesty, as I believe constructive criticism will help me grow. And finally, I humbly ask for your support as I will be needing every single one of you to fortify my spirits—I cannot do this alone.”
The Qrown Philippines was also fortunate to have interviewed Emman with her other Miss World Philippines sisters Anne de Mesa and Angelica Famorcan early this year.
We finally got to meet Emman up close during a sponsored event.

Emman also had one of the best performances in the Q and A.

Emman was crowned by Katrina Llegado as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021.

Days after winning Reina, Emman posted a series of photos on Instagram thanking, saying that she will do her best to win the crown for the country.
Emman will try to duplicate the success of Winwyn Marquez, who won the crown in 2017.
