Marian Rivera thanked the Miss Universe Organization on Tuesday, December 14 for giving her the chance to be part of the Miss Universe selection committee at the pageant held in Eilat, Israel.
“Honored to be part of the 70th @missuniverse selection committee. Truly a great experience I’ll never forget. Thank you for the wonderful time ladies and congratulations to all of you,” she wrote on her Instagram.
She also thanked her team including her husband Dingdong Dantes, who stood as her photographer, videographer, and even assistant during the event. She also extended her congratulations to all the winners.
Marian also thanked fashion designer Francis Libiran, who made her pink gown for the finals.
“To @francislibiran8 and his team for creating this piece for me in such short notice, maraming salamat for helping me look my best that evening.”
In an Instagram story, she congratulated Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, for placing in the Top 5.
Before flying back to Manila, Dingdong shared a snap of them of what seems to be an interview of Marian with Bea that will air soon.
Marian of course thanked Dingdong for being by her side by posting a cute snap of them together.
“Before this trip ends I’d like to thank the best husband I could ask for — from being my cheerleader to waterboy, thank you for everything that you do for us. Thanks for creating memories with me so that we can look back at them together. Love you!”

Marian of course had last-minute photos taken before they left Israel.

It was on December 3 when Marian confirmed that she was part of the selection committee. Other members include Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, Puerto Rican host and actress Adamari Lopez, actress Rena Sofer, model Adriana Lima, and model/entrepreneur Lori Harvey.
India’s Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned the new Miss Universe.
