The Miss Universe Philippines Organization unveiled its newest crown on Tuesday, April 19 during the Gala Night event at Hilton Hotel in Pasay City.
The La Mer en Majesté is made of pearls and was conceptualized by Jewelmer.
According to the description, Jewel envisions the Miss Universe Philippines crown “as an exquisite tribute and history of the Philippines.”
“Shaped by the movement of the tides and colored by the rays of the sun, each golden South Sea pearl is a miracle – a symbol of purity, so rare that it was hailed as the Philippines’ National Gem. This exquisite crown is an homage to the majesty, the sea for she is the queen of the elements.
The organization previously teased the new crown on Sunday, April 17.
For the two years, the winners wore the Filipina crown created by Villarica. Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez will crown her successor on April 30.
