The Miss Universe Philippines organization has teamed up with shoemaker Jojo Bragais for the 2021 edition. On Friday, September 24, Miss Universe Philippines posted photos of the candidates clad in the different shoe designs of the Bicolano designer.

Among the shoes modeled by the candidates include the Stella heels, named after Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc chairperson and former beauty queen Stella Marquez Araneta, Guadalupe, and the Jehza line, which was used in the 69th Miss Universe in May. The Jehza line is named after Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2018 Jehza Huelar.

Jojo’s shoes have been the go-to for many pageant fans and aspiring beauty queens. He first gained recognition when he made heels for a friend, Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvette Santiago. He was later tapped to be the official shoe provider of Binibining Pilipinas.

Aside from Bb Pilipinas, Jojo has also provided shoes to several male pageants and local pageants in the country. Aside from the 69th Miss Universe pageant, he was also asked to provide the shoes for the Miss Universe Colombia, and El Salvador pageants.
