The Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced on Monday, January 31 that they’ve scheduled the coronation night for the 2022 edition on April 30.

“Join us in making the most prestigious pageant in the country happen! Be our partner as we launch this global event in February and crown a new phenomenal queen on April 30! This is Miss Universe Philippines 2022,” the organization announced on its social media accounts.

The announcement also mentioned that screening will officially begin this February. The application form is now available on the Miss Universe Philippines social media accounts. Deadline is on February 15.

Since it took over the Miss Universe Philippines franchise, the management led by Shamcey Supsup had good placements. In the 69th edition in Florida, Rabiya Mateo made it to the Top 20 while Beatrice Luigi Gomez gave the Philippines a Top 5 finish in the 70th edition held in Eilat, Israel last December.
