Leren Mae Bautista is no stranger to the pageant scene. The Laguna native has participated in several beauty contests such as Miss Los Banos 2013 and Binibining Laguna 2014. She later joined Mutya ng Pilipinas, where she represented the Philippines in the Tourism Queen of the Year pageant in 2015 and won. She also join Binibining Pilipinas in 2019 and represented the country in the Miss Globe pageant where she placed 2nd runner-up.
After crowning her successor Maureen Montagne last July, Leren’s fans have been urging her to join one last time for the Miss Universe Philippines. At 28, it was her last pageant and she was fortunate to make it to the cut and now is part of the 28 official candidates.
Even with the experience, so much is expected of Leren in this year’s edition. People are looking for something that she can offer more and have proven that with the photoshoots she has produced. She has also been working extra hard in her pasarela, Q and A with a team headed by former beauty queens. Her good friend, Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Aya Abesamis served as creative director in some of her photoshoots.
