Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez said she’s confident that her friend and fellow Cebuana, Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez has what it takes to win the country’s second blue crown.

Speaking to the media during an online press conference Tuesday, December 14, Bea said that Tracy has gone through a lot of challenges, which made her stronger.

“She was the one who gave me advice in joining Miss Universe Philippines. And I know Tracy as a very strong woman she’s independent and she was raised by a single mom. She had a challenging life and she was able to overcome it and she became stronger despite yung hindi niya na achieve yung title na she wanted with Miss Universe Philippines and Miss World Philippines before,” Bea said.

“I know Tracy is determined. She was able to win the national crown this year and I’m hoping manalo siya sa international round this time.”

Tracy ha secured herself a top 30 spot in the finals after winning the Head-to-Head challenge. Her Beauty with a Purpose project Para Kay Nanay: A Single Mother’s Journey to Love was also chosen as one of the Top BWAP projects and will get funding from the organization.

Since her placements, Tracy has been picked by a number of pageant admins as one of the candidates who could possibly win the Miss World blue crown.

The Miss World competition will be telecast live from Puerto Rico on Friday, December 17, Manila time. Singers Peter Andrei, Fernando Allende, and Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle will host the show.
