Philippine bet Pauline Cucharo Amelinckx was declared 1st runner-up of Miss Supranational 2023 held in Poland early Saturday, July 15 Manila time.
Ecuador’s Andrea Aguilera, who previously competed in Miss Grand International 2021 won the title and succeeded Lalela Mswane of South Africa.
Brazil’s Sancler Frantz was 2nd runner-up, the UK’s Emma Collingrdige was 3rd runner-up, and Vietnam’s NganDang Thanh was 4th runner-up.
Three years in the making
Pauline’s placement was the first time in 10 years the Philippines made it back to the Top 5. In 2013, Mutya Datul became the country’s first winner.
It was also a victory for Pauline who had to join the Miss Universe Philippines title three times before finally getting a chance to represent the country. Prior to Miss Universe Philippines, Pauline compete in Mutya ng Pilipinas.
Pauline is set to return to the Philippines very soon. The country’s bet to Mister Supranational Johannes Rissler will vie for the title early Sunday, Manila time.
