Miss Universe Thailand crowned crowd-favorite and eloquent Paweensuda Drouin.
In a storyline similar to that of Miss Universe 2019 Catriona Gray, former Miss Earth contestant Paweensuda Drouin turned her heartbreak into a driving force that propelled her towards becoming Thailand’s representative at Miss Universe 2019.
Drouin competed at Miss Earth 2017 which saw host contestant Karen Ibasco winning the crown. Unable to fully comprehend a Western term “millennial”, Drouin failed to make the Top 4 of Miss Earth 2017.
Drouin remained undeterred amid netizens pointing to similarities between her hair parted to the side and evening gown presentation to that of Catriona Gray at Miss Universe 2018.
Come Miss Universe 2019, Thailand will become a formidable force that might just end the title drought for the country.
