On April 1st, Aces & Queens head Jonas Gaffud released a statement, saying he is leaving the beauty camp to pursue other endeavors.
In his statement, he said he will be focusing on developing and sustaining advocacies which are close to our hearts: education of children, and raising funds for their causes, LGBTQIA rights and awareness, tourism for the Philippines, and women empowerment.
All of these will be coursed through the Miss Universe Philippines brand that will choose the Philippine representative to Miss Universe starting 2020.
Now, what will be Mama J’s role in Miss Universe Philippines?
Well, he was appointed to be the Creative & Events Director.
